Roblox developer Kitawari has unleashed Anime Vanguards Winter Update 3.0, a major overhaul bringing significant changes to the tower defense game's unit roster, lobby experience, and a host of quality-of-life improvements. This update keeps the winter spirit alive with new additions designed for weeks of enjoyment. The most striking change? A completely revamped lobby, offering expanded space and a more visually appealing environment for anime fans to begin their sessions. This also includes a remastered UI, featuring a significantly improved and cleaner stage selection interface.
“We listened to your feedback regarding the previous lobby; it was too small and cramped, limiting our ability to add new game modes,” Kitawari explained in the Winter Update 3.0 patch notes. “Prepare yourselves for a breathtaking new lobby – ten times more impressive than before, complete with a customizable Day and Night cycle, adjustable in the Settings!”
Another key feature in Anime Vanguards Winter Update 3.0 is the introduction of a new game mode: Portals. Kitawari encourages players to utilize winter units and skins for increased team damage and access to exclusive rewards. Sandbox Mode also makes its debut, allowing for unrestricted experimentation with new strategies. In addition, players can collect 12 new units across a new Winter Banner, the Portals game mode, the battle pass, and new leaderboard rewards.
The quality-of-life improvements are numerous, including smoother unit placement, Evolution Quests now appearing in a dedicated tab, and search bars added to the skins and familiar windows. Units now also clearly highlight their target enemy. All these enhancements are immediately available to Anime Vanguards players.
This latest update continues Kitawari’s impressive string of updates since the game’s launch last January.
