Unlocking and Befriending Lobo in Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp
Lobo, a charming wolf villager, can be a welcome addition to your Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp campsite. This guide outlines how to unlock him, increase his friendship level, and fulfill his special requests.
Unlocking Lobo
Lobo becomes available to you randomly between levels 20 and 39 of your Camp Manager level. You unlock two new animals per level, but the specific animals are randomized. Therefore, you might encounter Lobo as early as level 20 or as late as level 39. Once unlocked, he'll appear on your map periodically. If he's not appearing, use a Calling Card to summon him for three hours. To do this:
- Access your Contacts (the icon above your planner). Navigate to the wolf tab and locate Lobo.
- Select Lobo and choose "Call."
Accelerate your Camp Manager level progression by interacting with other animals, completing their requests, and providing snacks. Each animal level-up grants you experience towards your Camp Manager level. Gulliver's Ship offers villager maps; completing these at Blathers's Treasure Trek unlocks additional villagers and provides friendship points/experience.
Inviting Lobo to Your Campsite
Before inviting Lobo, he needs to reach friendship level 5. You'll also need to craft the following furniture:

Increase Lobo's friendship level by completing his requests (use Request Tickets if needed – three per villager daily). Alternatively, offer him treats; Bronze, Silver, or Gold Treats are universally liked. For optimal friendship gains, provide treats matching his historical theme: Plain, Tasty, or Gourmet Pound Cake.
Completing Lobo's Special Request
At friendship level 10, Lobo presents a special request: crafting a Vintage Telephone. This unlocks +10 friendship points, 1000 Bells, a Request Ticket, and a Calling Card.
The Vintage Telephone (used in several Happy Homeroom classes) requires:
- x2 Sparkle Stones
- x4 Historical Essence
- x75 Wood
- x75 Steel
It takes 18 hours to craft. Follow these steps and you'll soon have Lobo happily residing at your campsite!
