The story begins with a classic villainous scheme. The previously obscure heroes and villains of Earth-212 are thrust into the limelight by the sudden appearance of the Tower of Fate in Gotham City. Lex Luthor, in a twist of genius (or madness), creates mutants wielding a combination of heroic and villainous powers. Defeat these formidable foes and unlock new playable heroes.
