The initial Wintervestigation Quest sends you to SGT. Winter. These quests involve teaming up with Noir to uncover clues and discover new NPCs.
The quest tracker will pinpoint SGT. Winter's location—near a plane crash atop a snowy mountain east of Warrior's Watch and south of Foxy Floodgate. It's close to Mariah Carey's in-game concert location.
Talking to SGT. Winter
SGT. Winter is an NPC near the plane wreckage, marked by a speech bubble icon. Interact with him to access a menu. Select the magnifying glass icon to begin the Wintervestigation dialogue. He'll provide your next mission, sending you to Noir in Seaport City. Completion rewards 25,000 XP.
Surviving and Looting at SGT. Winter's Location
Reaching SGT. Winter can be tough, as it's a popular drop zone. Consider waiting a few days for the crowds to thin. Alternatively, utilize the plane wreckage for cover, and grab nearby chests for an early advantage. Many players may land with only pickaxes, giving you a fighting chance. Purchasing items from SGT. Winter, like the Holo Twister Assault Rifle, can also provide a quick advantage.
