Recent reports indicate BioWare has no immediate plans for downloadable content (DLC) for Dragon Age: The Veilguard. However, the possibility of a Dragon Age remastered collection remains open.
BioWare Confirms No Veilguard DLC
Remastered Collection Remains a Possibility
According to Rolling Stone, BioWare creative director John Epler confirmed that Dragon Age: The Veilguard is considered a completed project, with no current plans for DLC expansion. The studio's focus has shifted to the next Mass Effect installment.
While specifics regarding Veilguard DLC are unavailable, Epler addressed the potential for a Dragon Age remastered collection, similar to the Mass Effect Legendary Edition. He acknowledged the challenges posed by the original games' proprietary EA game engines, stating that remastering them wouldn't be as straightforward as the Mass Effect trilogy. However, he left the door open, suggesting that a Dragon Age remaster isn't entirely out of the question. His exact words: "It’s something that’s not going to be as easy as Mass Effect, but we do love the original games. Never say never."
