Unveiling Simlish Secrets: Repair Magic in "Blast from the Past"

Author : Noah Feb 25,2025

The Sims 4's Blast from the Past event presents players with rewarding challenges, but some prove trickier than others. One such challenge requires breaking and repairing an object. This guide outlines the process.

Week 2's challenge necessitates raising your Sim's Handiness skill to level 2 or higher. The subsequent task—repairing a broken object—lacks clear guidance. To overcome this, intentionally break an item. While "pranking" an object works, it requires specific Sim traits. A simpler method involves repeatedly using an item until it breaks.

The Ambassador toilet, being an inexpensive adult item, is ideal. Repeated use (around a dozen times) will cause it to malfunction, signifying a broken object. This can be achieved by your Sim or invited guests.

Repairing the broken object is straightforward once your Handiness skill reaches level 2. Simply select the "Repair" option on the broken item. The repair process takes a short time, resolving the water issue and completing the challenge.
