Ubisoft Remains Active on Future Driver Projects

Ubisoft Confirms More “Driver” Projects After Cancelation of Show AdaptationUbisoft has officially confirmed to Game File the cancellation of its live-action Driver TV series adaptation. Initially announced in 2021 for exclusive streaming on Binge.com, the project aimed to "bring our games to life in new and exciting ways," according to Ubisoft Film & Television head Danielle Kreinik.

The collaboration ended due to the closure of Hotrod Tanner LLC, a movie-related subsidiary (named after the Driver protagonist), in January. "We are no longer moving forward with our partnership with Binge for a Driver series," a Ubisoft spokesperson stated.

However, Ubisoft reassures fans that development continues on "other exciting projects related to the franchise." Specific details remain undisclosed, but the company promises future announcements. Stay tuned for more Driver news!
