Get Ready for Gigantamax Pokémon in Pokémon GO!
The GO Wild Area event introduces Toxtricity, the Punk Pokémon. Catch both its standard and Dynamax forms by teaming up, completing Max Battles, and potentially receiving it as a Special Research reward.
Gigantamax Pokémon dramatically increase in size and alter their appearance. You and up to 39 other Trainers must coordinate your attacks to defeat them. Strategy, teamwork, and plenty of Max Particles will be crucial.
Max Particles are new items used to power up your Pokémon's Max Moves. Gigantamax Pokémon also possess unique G-Max Moves. The Pokémon GO Wild Area: Global event takes place on November 23rd and 24th. Check out the trailer below!
You're already familiar with Dynamax Pokémon in Pokémon GO – these glowing red behemoths are roaming around. Reaching Trainer level 13 unlocks the 'To the Max!' Special Research, guiding you to these massive creatures.Power Spots, the locations of Max Battles, appear dynamically across the map. Explore to find them, as their locations change.
