Fans can anticipate the premiere of this last installment sometime within the last quarter of 2025. Initially renewed for Season 6 in mid-2024, it was not revealed at the time that this would be the show's swan song.
Since its debut in 2020, Solar Opposites has captivated audiences with its unique narrative, following a family of aliens navigating life on Earth after escaping their doomed home planet. The series, created by Star Trek: Lower Decks mastermind Mike McMahan and Rick & Morty co-creator Justin Roiland, faced significant changes when Roiland was removed from the show in 2023 following charges of domestic violence. Although the charges were subsequently dropped, Roiland's departure led to English actor Dan Stevens stepping in as the lead voice actor, seamlessly transitioning the show into its next phase.
