Exciting news for fans of farm life sim RPGs: My Time at Sandrock is making its way to mobile devices! The game, which launched on PC in 2023 and is developed by Pathea Games, is gearing up for its first-ever mobile beta test. However, this initial test is exclusively for Android users in China, and it's being managed by Conscience Studio. If you're familiar with the prequel, My Time at Portia from 2019, you'll know what to expect from this sequel, which is published by PM Studios and Focus Entertainment on Steam.
When Is the My Time at Sandrock Android Beta Test?
This beta test marks the first venture of My Time at Sandrock into the mobile realm. Dubbed a technical trial, the developers are eager to assess how well the game's expansive world adapts to mobile devices. They are currently fine-tuning elements such as resource loading and optimization, so participants should anticipate some minor issues.
The Android beta test is set to be a small-scale event, exclusively available through the Haoyou Kuaibao platform in China. If you're located in China and interested, you have until January 22nd to apply. The test itself begins on January 23rd. Keep in mind that your game saves will be wiped at the end of the test, but you'll have the chance to dive into a new adventure after completing the initial 30 days of in-game content, which spans the first 13 chapters. For more information and to apply, check out the official beta test page.
What’s the Story?
Set 300 years after the catastrophic Day of Calamity, which obliterated modern technology, My Time at Sandrock plunges you into a post-apocalyptic desert landscape. As the newest Builder in the town of Sandrock, you'll be tasked with gathering resources, crafting machines, building relationships with locals, and even fending off monsters. The game's art style is charming and quirky, bringing a unique flair to the desolate yet vibrant world. You can get a sneak peek of the game's atmosphere in the trailer below!
