When Is Pokémon TCG Pocket Dropping Space-Time Smackdown and Trading?
Mark your calendars for January 29th, 2025, when trading will be introduced to Pokémon TCG Pocket. Just a day later, on January 30th, the Space-Time Smackdown expansion will hit the scene. This update not only brings new cards but also enhances your digital binder and display board with fresh covers featuring Dialga, Palkia, and Darkrai.
The trading feature, eagerly awaited by many, will require two new items: trade hourglasses and trade tokens. You'll be able to trade cards up to rarity levels 1-4 and ★1. Initially, trading will be limited to cards from the Genetic Apex and Mythical Island expansions, but the developers have promised to include more tradeable cards in future updates.
The Space-Time Smackdown expansion dives into the Sinnoh region, introducing two new booster packs centered around the Legendary Pokémon Dialga and Palkia. Alongside these, you'll find stunning new card illustrations. The expansion also features Lucario, the formidable steel-and-fighting type, and the beloved Sinnoh starters: Turtwig, Chimchar, and Piplup.
