I've been reminded that I should give other Marvel games a fairer shake. While I frequently cover Marvel Snap (Free) for every update, other titles often only appear in my Monday Best Updates articles. That's a valid criticism! So, let's dedicate a Marvel Minute to exploring what's happening in other Marvel games. It turns out Marvel Future Fight (Free) and Marvel Contest of Champions (Free) both boast exciting new events. Let's dive in!
First, Marvel Future Fight is celebrating Iron Man! Tony's always tinkering with new suits and weaponry, and this event, inspired by Invincible Iron Man, introduces new outfits for Tony and Pepper. The update notes detail:
“Invincible Iron Man has joined Marvel Future Fight. Defeat enemies with upgraded suits! New Uniforms: Iron Man, Rescue. New Tier-4 Advancement: War Machine, Hulkbuster. New World Boss: Legend+ (The Black Order's Corvus & Proxima return). New Custom Gear: C.T.P. of Liberation. 200 Crystals Event: Link your email for 200 crystals!"
Next, let's look at the ever-popular Marvel Contest of Champions. New events usually introduce playable characters, and this game's roster is incredibly diverse. The inclusion of less-common characters like Count Nefaria is a treat for long-time Marvel fans. The update details are as follows:
“NEW CHAMPIONS: Count Nefaria (a Maggia crime boss with ionic energy powers), Shathra (daughter of Oshtur and Gaea, from Loomworld). NEW QUESTS AND EVENTS: Event Quest – Lupus In Fabula (overthrowing The Collector’s ship), Side Quest – Ludum Maximus (games hosted by Count Nefaria with randomized paths), Act 9; Chapter 1 – The Reckoning (continuing the Ouroboros storyline), Glorious Games Saga (a four-month event celebrating the Contest’s 10th anniversary), Realm Events (global point contribution events with ranked rewards)."
That's it! Both events look fantastic. If you've never played these games, or haven't played them recently, this is a great opportunity to jump back in. I'm definitely checking out Count Nefaria – he's just so… nefarious! Okay, I'll stop now. Enjoy!
