Kingdom Come Deliverance 2: End the Feud - Battle of Frogs & Mice Quest Guide

Author : Zachary Mar 25,2025

To resolve the ongoing feud between Prochek and Olbram in the Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 side quest, "Battle of the Frogs and Mice," follow these detailed steps for a peaceful outcome.

How to Start Battle of Frogs and Mice in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2

To initiate this quest, you must first complete either the "Mice" or "Frogs" quests for Prochek and Olbram. Upon completion, the "Battle of the Frogs and Mice" quest will unlock. To start, simply speak with Prochek in Tachov or Olbram in Zhelejov, and then proceed to the designated pasture.

Should You Side With Prochek or Olbram?

While Henry faces the choice to side with either Prochek or Olbram, you can opt for a peaceful resolution instead of choosing sides. If you decide to support one, talk to your chosen ally in their respective location and express your readiness to confront the other side. However, engaging in combat will only temporarily resolve the situation and reward you with groschen.

How to Stop the Feud

For a more permanent and peaceful solution, initiate a conversation with either Prochek or Olbram before heading to the pasture, and inquire about ending the feud. Next, travel to Troskowitz to meet Baliff Thrush. Use the dialogue option, "You’d finally have some peace," and aim to pass the ensuing dialogue check.

If successful, you'll gain access to the Troskowitz Chronicle in the scribe’s room. Should you fail to persuade the Baliff, consider sneaking in, but save your game beforehand for safety.

When speaking with the scribe, select the Latin phrase, "Fecit, ordinem in regione ope clavi ferrei."

At the pasture, locate three oak trees aligned together. Examine the middle tree to find a nail. Your decision on where to place the nail will determine the land division:

  • Leaving the nail in the middle tree will split the pasture equally between Tachov and Zhelejov.
  • Placing the nail in the west tree will allocate more land to Tachov.
  • Placing the nail in the east tree will allocate more land to Zhelejov.

Choose based on your preference or remain neutral. After deciding, speak with Baliff Thrush again to confirm the end of the feud. Then, bring Prochek or Olbram to the pasture to finalize the agreement.

Finally, consult with Baliff Thrush to receive the "Master Studies I" book as a reward.

By following these steps, you'll successfully stop the feud in the "Battle of the Frogs and Mice" quest in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. For more tips and game information, visit The Escapist.
