Hogwarts Legacy Mods Coming Sooner Than Expected

WB Games has announced an exciting update for fans of the Harry Potter universe: starting this Thursday, Hogwarts Legacy will support mods, exclusively on PC. This feature will be part of a significant patch that can be downloaded from both Steam and the Epic Games Store (EGS).

The update introduces the Hogwarts Legacy Creator Kit, a comprehensive toolkit designed for enthusiasts to create new content. This includes crafting unique dungeons, designing new quests, and even modifying characters. The well-established platform CurseForge will be responsible for overseeing and distributing these user-generated mods. Additionally, Hogwarts Legacy will feature a new mod manager, enabling players to easily discover and install mods that pique their interest.

On launch day, several pre-approved mods will be available, with the highlight being Dungeon of Doom. This new dungeon offers players the challenge of battling numerous enemies and uncovering hidden secrets. However, there's an important note for players: to access these mods, you'll need to link your game account with a WB Games account.

The patch also enhances character customization, introducing new hairstyles and additional outfits. The developers have showcased examples of these mods in a trailer, giving players a glimpse of what to expect.

Looking ahead, Warner Bros. Discovery has confirmed that the second part of the adventure game is already in development, marking it as one of their top priorities for the coming years.
