Santa Monica Studio has released comprehensive patch notes detailing all the new content included in this celebratory update, available now at no extra cost to all players.
The Dark Odyssey Collection brings a host of Norse-themed cosmetics to the game, including unique looks for Kratos, Atreus, and Freya. Kratos can now don the Dark Odyssey Armor Set, featuring the Dark Odyssey Breastplate, Bracers, and Belt, while Atreus and Freya receive the Dark Odyssey Vestment and Witch Frock, respectively. Additionally, the update revamps the appearance of all of Kratos' godly weaponry, with new looks for the Leviathan Axe, Blades of Chaos, Draupnir Spear, and various shields, each accompanied by special attachments like the Dark Odyssey Knob, Handles, and Hind.
A standout feature of this update is the new "Edit Appearance" option, allowing players to customize their favorite looks without compromising the abilities and skills of each armor set. This feature extends to weapon and shield attachments, enabling you to tailor Kratos' appearance to your preferred style while maintaining your chosen build's functionality.
Whether you're embarking on your first journey through the realms or revisiting the epic battles against Thor and Odin, now is the perfect time to dive into God of War Ragnarök. The update is available across all platforms, including PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC.

Edit Appearance for Weapon and Shield Attachments
With the addition of the new Dark Odyssey weapon attachments and shield rönd in the patch, we have added the ability to use the ‘Edit Appearance’ feature on those components of Kratos’ arsenal.
You’ll be able to pick whatever visual suits your look with the functionality you want for your build!
