Disney Mirrorverse Ends Service This Year

Disney Mirrorverse, the mobile game featuring a unique blend of Disney and Pixar characters, is shutting down. Developer Kabam announced the End of Service (EOS) date as December 16th, 2024.

The game has already been removed from the Google Play Store, and all in-app purchases are disabled. Players have approximately three months remaining to enjoy the game before the servers are permanently closed.

Have You Played Disney Mirrorverse?

Launched in June 2022, Disney Mirrorverse is an action RPG featuring reimagined Disney and Pixar characters. Kabam advises players to complete the main storyline before the game's closure.

Initial excitement surrounding the game, particularly among Disney fans, waned due to a lengthy beta period and infrequent content updates. The game's potential remained unrealized, hampered by a demanding shard collection system that required significant in-game spending to fully develop characters. Despite this, the game boasted impressive character designs and high-quality graphics.

The Unexpected Disney Mirrorverse EOS Announcement

The EOS announcement is particularly disappointing given the recent release of new story content and the addition of Cinderella as a playable character just a week prior. This abrupt closure mirrors Kabam's past actions, including the sudden shutdowns of Transformers: Forged to Fight and a Marvel Contest of Champions spin-off.
