Dead Cells Launches Its Two Final Free Updates on Android

It's almost over! No, not Dead Cells itself, but the free updates. After a remarkable run since 2018, the developers are bringing the curtain down on new content for Dead Cells Mobile. But don't worry, the final updates, "Clean Cut" and "The End is Near," are here, and they're packed with cursed delights. Both updates are now available on Android.

What's Included?

Get ready for a final flurry of content. Four new weapons join the arsenal, including the delightfully oversized Sewing Scissors and the high-risk, high-reward Misericorde. This sword unleashes devastating critical hits on low-health enemies, but miss the finishing blow, and you'll face a curse. The Anathema, a heavy ranged weapon, explodes on impact—but curses you if it hits anything. Balancing this out is the new Indulgence skill, a beam of light that obliterates enemies and partially cleanses your curses.

The updates also introduce exciting new modes like Speedrun and Boss Rush DIY, giving you fresh ways to test your skills. Plus, 40 new heads await, and a helpful NPC lets you swap them at will.

Check out the final update trailer:

New Mutations and Enemies

Prepare for a cursed challenge! New mutations add another layer of strategic depth. Cursed Flask lets you use health flasks without consuming charges, while Damned Vigor offers a temporary reprieve from death. Demonic Strength, however, boosts damage at the cost of embracing the curse.

The enemy roster expands with some truly menacing foes. The Sore Loser clings to you, cursing you upon its demise. The Curser unleashes guided cursed skulls and slashes at close range. And finally, the terrifying Doom Bringer can instantly kill you if you accumulate over 50 curses.
