Marvel has unveiled the first trailer for its highly anticipated Disney+ series, Daredevil: Born Again, featuring the return of Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock, reprising his role from the beloved Netflix series. Scheduled for release on March 4, the show brings back familiar faces, including Vincent D'Onofrio as the formidable Wilson Fisk, also known as Kingpin, and Jon Bernthal as the relentless Frank Castle, aka The Punisher.
The trailer showcases a thrilling reunion of the main characters, set against the backdrop of intense and brutal action sequences. Daredevil, portrayed by Cox, is seen in top form, battling the criminal elements that plague New York City's Hell's Kitchen neighborhood.
In an intriguing twist, the series sets up an unlikely alliance between Matt Murdock and Wilson Fisk as they confront a new and dangerous threat: the artistically inclined serial killer known as Muse. The trailer offers a chilling glimpse of Muse, donning his signature bleeding eye white mask, adding a layer of suspense to the narrative. Muse, a relatively new addition to Daredevil's rogues gallery, was created by Charles Soule and Ron Garney, making his debut in 2016's Daredevil #11.
Additionally, the trailer teases the return of Wilson Bethel as Bullseye, another iconic Daredevil villain. Bethel, who previously portrayed Bullseye (aka Benjamin Poindexter) in Season 3 of the Netflix series, appeared in 11 out of 13 episodes. That season not only introduced Bullseye to the Netflix MCU but also reimagined the character with a compelling and tragic origin story, adding depth to a character first introduced in 1976's Daredevil #131. Fans are eager to see how Bethel's portrayal of Bullseye will evolve in Daredevil: Born Again.
