In Path of Exile 2, the Currency Exchange system is a pivotal feature that allows you to convert your lower-tier Currencies into higher-tier ones, which can be crucial for trading with other players or for crafting powerful items. However, navigating the ever-changing Currency Exchange rates can be quite challenging due to their constant fluctuations based on market dynamics.
How to Check Currency Exchange Rates in PoE 2
To access the Currency Exchange, you need to speak with the gambling vendor in any Act after reaching Cruel Difficulty. Once you're in the Currency Exchange menu, you'll notice two boxes designated for Currencies.
Start by clicking on the left box, where you'll select the Currency you're interested in acquiring or converting to. For instance, if you're looking to check the current price of a Divine Orb, click on the left item tab and choose the Divine Orb from the list.
Next, click on the right item tab to view a list of your available Currencies, spanning both your Inventory and Stashes. To continue with our example, if you want to know how many Exalted Orbs you need to trade for a Divine Orb, select Exalted Orb from the list of your available Currencies in your Stash.
The conversion ratio between your selected Currencies will be displayed between the item selection boxes. To acquire a Divine Orb with Exalted Orbs, you'll need to pay the number of Exalted Orbs shown on the right-hand side of the ratio.
This process also works in reverse. If you possess a Divine Orb and wish to convert it into Exalted Orbs, simply select Exalted Orb from the "Want" list, and then choose your Divine Orb from the "Have" list.
Keep in mind that Currency Exchange rates are updated continuously, so the conversion rates can shift dramatically from one hour to the next. It's a good practice to check back frequently during your gameplay to ensure you're getting the best possible deal on a valuable Currency item.
If a particular Currency combination isn't available, such as trading Divine Orbs for Scrolls of Wisdom, no ratio will be displayed, and the exchange will not be possible.
