Navigating the Kentucky BioTech Facility
The mission begins with Case and Marshall entering a hazardous Kentucky BioTech facility, necessitating gas masks. An elevator malfunction leads to a gas mask failure and subsequent hallucinations. After the initial cutscene, locate a red-lit locked door. Use a hatchet found on a mannequin to break it open. Proceed through the hallway and up the stairs to an elevator in the central area.
Accessing the Biotechnology Room
Activating the elevator triggers a zombie encounter (hallucinatory effects of the toxic gas). Eliminate the zombies with your hatchet. A phone call from the circular desk directs you to the biotechnology room, requiring four director's cards (Red, Green, Blue, Yellow). You'll receive a map indicating the Yellow card's location.
Locating the Yellow Card and Grappling Hook
Follow the map to a yellow staircase. Solve the computer puzzle in the Director's office (answers: "Access" and "Lift") to access the A.C.R. room. Defeat additional zombies.
A mannequin holding the Yellow card transforms into an abomination. Before engaging, gather armor plates, weapons, and the crucial grappling hook from the surrounding area. Use explosives (C4 or grenades) to efficiently eliminate the abomination and its zombie horde. Retrieve the Yellow card from the abomination's remains.
Acquiring the Green Card
Use the grappling hook to ascend to the main facility. Locate the Administration Facility by grappling from the security desk. Answer the ringing phone. Find and place four documents in the file display area.
Manequin's will follow, but freeze when you turn. Quickly collect the documents (one on a corner desk, one near a round table, one on a small central table, and one in the cafe). After placing the documents, grapple the red mannequin repeatedly to transform it into a Mangler Zombie and obtain the Green Card.
Obtaining the Blue Card
Grapple across to the Joint Projects Facility. Answer the phone. Locate the glass chamber and the Blue Card. Engaging the card spawns a Mimic; shoot moving objects to reveal and eliminate it, then collect the Blue Card.
Securing the Red Card
Head to the East Wing (marked on your map), following the red carpets to a room with water, a console, and a Mangler. Interact with the console to reveal the Red Card. Use the grappling hook to reach the upper area, swim through the red tunnel, climb the ladders, and clear the zombies. Unlock the door using the blacklight code, and drain the water by activating the switches within the 25-second timer. Defeat the Mangler and its horde to obtain the Red Card.
Confronting the Disciple
Insert all four cards into the security desk. Take the elevator to the top floor, eliminate any pursuing zombies, and answer the red phone. Engage the final battle against the Disciple and its zombie horde. The mission concludes with a revealing hallucination sequence.
