Battle Crush Announces EOS Just Few Months After Early Access Launch

NCSoft has announced the end of service (EOS) for its multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game, Battle Crush, much sooner than anticipated. The game, which launched in early access in June 2024 following a global test in August 2023, will be shutting down on November 29th, 2024. This is surprising given the game hadn't even reached its full release.

Battle Crush Shutdown Details:

  • EOS Date: November 29th, 2024.
  • In-App Purchases Refunds: Refunds are available for in-game purchases made between June 27th, 2024, and October 23rd, 2024. Android and Steam players can request refunds from December 2nd, 2024, to January 2025.
  • Game Access: Access to the game will cease on November 28th, 2024. Download any desired content before this date.
  • Website Closure: The official Battle Crush website will remain online until May 30th, 2025, for support purposes.
  • Social Media Shutdown: Social media accounts and Discord will be shut down on January 31st, 2025.

Why the Early Closure?

The unexpected closure is disappointing for players, especially those who invested time and resources. While Battle Crush offered enjoyable gameplay, it apparently lacked the polish and refinement needed to succeed. Some players reported clunky controls and pacing issues. Ultimately, these shortcomings contributed to its premature end.

You can still download and play Battle Crush on the Google Play Store before the November 28th deadline. For those seeking a new mobile gaming experience, consider checking out our upcoming article on the story-driven quests in Black Desert Mobile's Autumn Season.
