Unlocking more animals in Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete requires raising your Camp Manager Level. By reaching level 76, you'll have access to almost every animal, except those locked to Villager Maps. As you progress, leveling up becomes more challenging, so consistency in completing requests and engaging with visitors at your campsite or cabin is crucial for farming friendship points. Additionally, leveling up offers perks such as obtaining Leaf Tokens and expanding your inventory space.
How to Farm Experience
Tips for Leveling Up Fast
Interacting with animals on the map is key to gaining +2 friendship points. Each animal you encounter will have requests for you to complete. By fulfilling these requests, engaging in conversations, giving gifts, and changing their outfits, you'll earn experience that contributes to their friendship level and, in turn, your Camp Manager level.
Remember, animals don't stay on the map indefinitely; they change every three hours, bringing new requests with them. Make sure to interact with every animal before the next cycle.
If you have an animal at your campsite or cabin, they'll remain there until you decide to remove them. Warping to your campsite during the three-hour cycle presents an opportunity to farm more friendship points. Opting for "Tell me a story!" may lead to selecting furniture or clothing as a gift for another animal. Even if the gift isn't to their liking, you'll still earn +6 friendship points. Keep in mind that friendship points are only earned by selecting dialogue options highlighted in red. For instance, choosing "Change outfit!" when it's highlighted will grant +2 points, but repeating the same option won't yield any points.
Amenities
Constructing amenities is another way to earn friendship points from multiple animals simultaneously. Each amenity caters to specific animal types, granting more experience to animals that match the amenity's type. Although amenities take days to craft, you can level them up with Bells and materials to keep earning points. Upgrading an amenity to level 5/max level involves a 3-4 day construction period.
Giving Snacks
Snacks, which you collect in the game, can be given to animals using the "Have a snack!" option. To maximize the benefits, match the snack type to the animal's type. For instance, a natural-themed snack like a Plain Waffle will earn you more points if given to a natural-themed animal like Goldie, compared to a non-natural animal like Agnes.
Using Gulliver's Ship, you can unlock Villager Maps from golden islands, which can then be used at Blathers's Treasure Trek to collect Bronze, Silver, and Gold Treats. Collecting all souvenirs from a golden/villager island earns you 20 Gold Treats. If you've already unlocked all Villager Maps, you can obtain these treats through Requests or completing Isles of Style. Unlike regular snacks, Bronze, Silver, and Gold Treats are universally liked and always grant +3, +10, and +25 friendship points, respectively.
Animal Requests Tips
What Should You Give?
Completing requests in bulk is made easy with Pete's Parcel Service, allowing you to send items and earn friendship points without direct interaction. Most requests involve delivering collected items such as fruit or bugs.
Sometimes, requests allow you to choose the specific item to give. Opting for higher-value items can yield bonus rewards and extra experience, along with 1500 Bells for rarer items. Consider giving:
- Perfect Fruit (excluding non-local)
- Snow crab
- Splendid alfonsino
- Amberjack
- R. Brooke's birdwing
- Luna moth
- White scarab beetle
When an animal reaches level 10 or 15, you can accept their Special Request, which involves crafting specific furniture. These requests are time-consuming and costly, typically requiring 9000+ bells and over 10 hours to complete, but they offer substantial friendship points as a reward.
