Giving animals a snack in Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete is a quick and easy way to level up their friendship. The more an animal's friendship level increases, the more experience you'll get towards your Camp Manager Level. Therefore, snacks can make leveling easier, especially when starting Pocket Camp Complete. Unfortunately, snacks are rare and the most reliable way of obtaining them is through Gulliver's Ship. Because of this, you should know which ones and how many you should be giving animals.
How to Get Snacks in Pocket Camp Complete
Gulliver's Ship Guide
The easiest way to get snacks is to use Gulliver's Ship and send him to special islands (gold islands), where you obtain the Villager Maps. If you manage to collect all souvenirs from a special island, you'll get x20 Gold Treats as a completion bonus.
If you already have every Villager Map in Pocket Camp Complete, then you'll have to send Gulliver's Ship to whatever is displayed on the map. Depending on the type of island, the snacks will be different. If your goal is to get Gold Treats, complete any Isle of Style that appears on the map. You'll get x3 Gold Treats as a souvenir, then another x3 as a completion bonus.
You'll only be able to view three islands at a time. You can refresh the islands by tapping the icon in the upper-right corner of the screen, but you're only permitted one free refresh a day.
To use Gulliver's Ship, you'll need cargo. Cargo can be crafted in your furniture catalog, but some islands require furniture. If you're trying to get modern-themed snacks, then you'll want to set sail for Exotic Island. You can use a Plain Package or Plain Crate as cargo, but you can also use exotic-themed furniture (ex: Exotic Rug).
Islands have different snacks, but you can preview the type of snack by tapping the magnifying glass on the island's icon. The islands that take longer to clear (i.e: 6hrs) tend to have more treats than those that take 4hrs or less. For example, Piano Island has every type of Tart Snack (Plain Tart, Tasty Tart, Gourmet Tart).
Other Ways to Get Snacks
- You can also get Bronze, Silver, or Gold Treats from giving rare items for Requests or receiving gifts from visitors at your campsite/cabin.
- Silver and Gold Treats are given as Daily Goals, so be sure to check them any time you play Pocket Camp Complete.
- If you have Villager Maps, use Blathers's Treasure Trek and select Auto-Trek (x5 Leaf Tokens) to get every treat on the map. The snacks found in Villager Maps are always the Bronze, Silver, and Gold Treats.

What to Know About Snacks
Snacks are split into two categories: regular and themed. Regular snacks include the Bronze, Silver, and Gold Treats; they are liked by everyone. Themed snacks are any snack that's not the Bronze/Silver/Gold Treats, such as the Plain Donut. There are three tiers of themed snacks:
- Plain
- Tasty
- Gourmet
The plain-themed snacks give the lowest number of friendship points while the gourmet-themed snacks give the most. Naturally, plain snacks are easier to get from Gulliver's Ship than gourmet snacks, which are usually locked to islands that take 6 hours to complete.
There are 36 different types of snacks in Pocket Camp Complete:

Which Snack Should You Give to Animals
How to Give Snacks
Always know the animal's theme before giving them a snack. Animals get more friendship points when given a treat that matches their theme. If you're giving Bronze/Silver/Gold Treats, then you don't have to worry about their theme, since those treats are marked "generic" and liked by all. The Gold Treat gives the most friendship points out of any snack in the game (25 points).
Giving x10 Gold Treats to a level 1 animal will elevate them to level 15.
If you're not sure what the animal's theme is, you can check by tapping the animal icon at your campsite/cabin. There will be a theme icon displayed near their name. If you're speaking to an animal on the map (aka not at your campsite), then you can search for them in your Contacts or check their theme at Pete's Parcel Service.
To give a treat to an animal, tap them on the screen and choose "Have a snack!". You'll notice this dialogue option is always highlighted in red. This means you'll get friendship points each time you give them a gift.
