Amazon Slashes Prices on RTX 5070 Ti Gaming PCs

Author : Elijah Apr 19,2025

The GeForce RTX 5070 Ti graphics card hit the market in late February with a suggested retail price of $749.99. However, securing one at this price has become a challenge, as both personal sellers and manufacturers have jumped on the bandwagon of inflating prices. Finding an RTX 5070 Ti for less than $1,000 is now a rarity.

There's a clever workaround to these price hikes: opt for a prebuilt gaming PC. Currently, Amazon is selling CyberpowerPC RTX 5070 Ti gaming desktops starting at $2,069.99. This is a steal when you consider that the RTX 5070 Ti offers performance nearly identical to the RTX 4080 Super, even before considering the benefits of DLSS 4. The best deal on an RTX 4080 Super gaming PC I've found is at HP for $2,299.99. Unless you're particularly loyal to a brand, going for one of these prebuilt options could be your best bet.

My top pick among these configurations is the CyberPowerPC Gamer Supreme gaming PC, which comes equipped with an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU, RTX 5070 Ti GPU, 32GB of RAM, and a 2TB SSD. In our review of the AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D, Jackie Thomas noted that "the AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D is extremely powerful in games, making it a more compelling choice than other recent processors like the Intel Core Ultra 9 285K or Ryzen 9 9900X. If you're building a rig with a powerful graphics card, the 9800X3D is the best option for maximizing performance."

Among all the Blackwell cards released so far, the RTX 5070 Ti stands out as the best value. It offers performance comparable to the RTX 4080 Super and even outshines the RTX 5080, which is only 10%-15% faster but costs 33% more. This GPU excels at delivering high framerates in nearly all games, even at 4K resolution with ray tracing enabled. For AI tasks, the RTX 5070 Ti might be a better choice than the RTX 50870, as both come with 16GB of GDDR7 VRAM.

Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti GPU Review by Jacqueline Thomas

"At $749, the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti is the top 4K graphics card for most users, offering significantly better value than the RTX 5080 or 5090. Throughout my testing, this GPU excelled at 4K, closely matching the performance of much pricier graphics cards. This is before even considering multi-frame generation, which will further boost the RTX 5070 Ti's ability to achieve extremely high framerates, though with a slight increase in latency."

HP is currently offering a massive discount on its top-tier HP Omen 45L gaming PC, which features a 14th-gen Intel Core i7-14700K CPU and a GeForce RTX 4080 Super GPU for just $2,299.99 after a $700 instant rebate. This is one of HP's most powerful gaming PCs, capable of handling any game at up to 4K resolution. It delivers performance almost on par with the new RTX 5070 Ti GPU and is about 10% less powerful than the RTX 5080 GPU, while both share the same amount of VRAM (although the RTX 4080 uses GDDR6 instead of GDDR7).
