As of December 14, 2023, there have been significant updates regarding the companion apps for various PlayLink games, including Chimparty. Here’s what you need to know to keep enjoying this fun-filled party game on your PlayStation®4 system.
Android Users:
If you've already downloaded the Chimparty companion app to your current device or if it's in your library, you're good to go! You can continue playing the game with the app. However, please note that the Chimparty companion app is no longer available for download on the Google Play Store for devices running Android OS versions newer than Android 9.
Apple iOS Users:
Good news! You can continue to enjoy Chimparty with the companion app, regardless of your iOS version. No changes have been made to the app's availability on the Apple App Store.
How to Play Chimparty:
Dive into the fun with up to three friends and compete in 18 wacky party games across 90 levels. Use your smartphone or tablet as a controller with simple, intuitive one-button controls to launch, wobble, and bounce your chimps. It's a game that's perfect for the whole family, requiring skill, timing, and a bit of animal instinct to become the Ultimate Chimpion.
Explore five wild settings, from haunted castles to alien planets with crazy gravity, and a pirate harbor filled with cannons and cutlasses. As you play, collect outfits and accessories to customize your funky monkey and even play with your chimp on your friends’ PlayStation®4 systems.
