The mod generates beehives across various biomes; the type of hive found depends on the biome. For instance, forest, plains, and mountain biomes contain forest hives, yielding honeycombs. A net is required to capture wild bees.
The mod distinguishes between drones, princesses (identified by a cinnamon crown), and queens (with a golden crown), each with unique species and coloration. Given the inventory space bees consume, a specialized chest with 125 slots for bee storage is included.
